SCHEDULE & REGISTRATION BELOW

Get ready for an exciting season with Byron SC! We’re thrilled to announce our Winter Competitive Assessment sessions for open positions on specific Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams for the upcoming  2025 Outdoor Season. This is your chance to be part of our dynamic Competitive Program, where we offer top-tier training and development opportunities across multiple levels.

Players should attend as many assessment sessions as possible. This is a key step in evaluating and selecting players for our Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Fall assessment sessions have been completed for Tier 1 and Tier 2.  However, we have open positions at specific age groups for Tier 1 and Tier 2 that are listed below and we will be conducting winter assessments to fill these spots.  If you are interested in your child attending our winter assessments, please fill out the information below.   Our Technical Director will reach out to schedule a time at the BMO Sports Centre.  Dates are listed below.

Note that recreational players (House League and Tier 3 players) DO NOT have to register for assessments - they can register for their recreational age group teams here.

We are currently holding assessments for the following age groups and tiers.

Female players born in

U8 girls (born in 2017) - Tier 1&2

U9 girls (born in 2016) - Tier 1&2

U10 girls (born in 2015) - Tier 1&2

U11 girls (born in 2014) - Tier 2 only

U12 girls (born in 2013) - Tier 2 only

Male players for teams -

U8 boys (born in 2017) - Tier 1&2

U10 boys (born in 2015) - Tier 1&2

U13 boys (born in 2012) - Tier 1&2

U15 boys (born in 2010) - Tier 1&2

We will be conducting assessments at the BMO centre in downtown London.  Sessions will be held on Jan 25th, Feb 1st, Feb 8th.

Every player who participates will undergo a thorough assessment, and we will provide feedback on their performance and placement within our programs. Players are assigned to one of three tiers — Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 — based on their assessment results and current development level.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are grouped as pool system, with Tier 1 focusing on highly skilled players needing intensive training and competitive experience, while Tier 2 caters to those who have solid foundations but are ready to advance further. Tier 3 is for players new to the sport or still developing basic skills, emphasizing fundamental training and confidence-building with registration opening in January 2025. We strive to place each player in the environment that best supports their growth and development, ensuring they receive the appropriate challenges and support to reach their full potential.

At Byron SC, we understand the value of diverse athletic interests. While we offer winter programming, participation is not mandatory and will not impact your acceptance into our Competitive Program. We support our athletes in pursuing multiple sports and extracurricular activities, ensuring a well-rounded development.

Don’t miss out on this chance to join a thriving soccer community and take your game to the next level. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the field!
