REFUNDS
Refunds are processed according to our Refund policy. Please see Registration link on the side menu for this policy. If you require a refund, please send an email to info@byronsoccer.ca with REFUND in the subject line, along with the player's name, age division, and reason.
All refunds are forwarded via cheque. We cannot refund directly to your credit card. Refunds will be forwarded no later than March 15, 2010.

First Aid for Soccer Training
Byron Optimist Soccer is pleased to offer ‘First Aid for Soccer’ training through RJR Training Services. The course was written with the approval of the Ontario Soccer Association. It is becoming the expectation that at least one staff on the bench have this First Aid training.The course is a one-day course and covers not only first aid but also the special skills needed to recognize the hazards of soccer and the potential injuries. In particular we cover the subject of head and spinal injury in great detail as well as many other subjects related to the sport of soccer. The course is certificated by the Canadian Red Cross as an ‘Emergency First Aid Course’, which includes Defibrillation training which is valid for three years with a recommendation of annual CPR Update.

NEW CLUB HEAD COACH/Technical Trainer-2009-
Linda Whitehead:
Linda was raised in
Linda has over 25 years coaching experience that includes
time spent as an Ontario Provincial Coach and Tennessee State Coach, Canadian
National Team Coach (FISU games and CONCACAF Championship), 6 years coaching in
the CIS (University of Western Ontario, University of Victoria & Saint
Mary’s University) and over 10 years as a Head Coach in the USA NCAA DI at
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and University of Northern
Iowa.
She holds a CSA National ‘B’ License, is NCCP Level IV certified and holds a
Coaching Diploma from the National Coaching Institute,
She
went on to be Captain and MVP of the first ever UWO Women's Varsity soccer team,
a member of the Ontario Provincial Team and a member of London Concorde
Women's Soccer Club; 4 times Ontario Cup winners and Eastern Canadian Champions.
Currently Linda is a Community Coaching Course Instructor for the OSA and a part
time Professor at
Linda will be assisting competitive coaches and
house-league coaches enhance their skills and in turn, help players on the field
to maximize their potential as soccer players within the Byron
Program.
